Yeah, we decided just to hold off on telling our friends just to drive them crazy for a few days but we kind of suspected it was a boy anyway so the confirmation was nice.
We’d never be able to hold in a secret like that anyway.

As a funny aside, we didn’t find out the sex until the birth and in the haze of that first day in the hospital after our daughter was born, I turned to my wife and asked when she thought they would circumcize the baby.
You had your daughter circumcised?! MONSTER!!!
Yeah, I never forget that “You’re an idiot.” look on my wife’s face that made me realize my mistake.
Wait until you have a baby shower. We just got back from ours and? SCORE!
