Three pints? Difficult to sleep afterward.
While at Cabane, I also discovered the joys of pestico which is basically the Portugese version of a Tapas. We arrived fashionably late and neither of us had any supper so we thought we’d grab a bite there. Thing is, when you’re surrounded by people all talking to you, you don’t really want to start shoveling your way through a hamburger. The menu featured a pestico consisting of marinated pork and chorizo sausages, garnished with cheese, olives, and red peppers. As I am wont to dropping food all over myself and spitting chunks of food at my dining companions when I speak, it was the perfect way to eat socially.
