This may be a reflection of the West Virginian mind (they share one…), but it’s also reflective of the mainstream media’s attempt to keep the race issue front and center in this campaign. They, unlike some of the voters in WV (the state that essentially gave birth to Christian fundamentalism in the 1920s), should know better.
