Chuck Taggart is someone whose blog I’ve linked to for some years now. He loves cocktails and the music of Lousiana – so much so that he put together a 4 CD box set of local music.
He is also based in New Orleans which, as the Tragically Hip once noted, is sinking. He has an interesting, first person perspective on the events there this week.

Short of an “I, Claudius” remake, this show looks like the best thing ever. I missed the premiere the other night so I’ll be catching the rebroadcast tonight. I am told there is violence, boobies, and latin -which all good TV shows should have.
